Your support contributed to countless smiles of children in our community. The Toys collected were distributed to the Hollenbeck PALS Youth Center on Saturday, December 13th at the Boyle Heights Tech Center. Volunteers arrived early in the morning and assisted with the distribution of the toys. LBA Chairman, as a Special guest, “Santa” was delivered by Fire Station 2. Attendees included: Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, Los Angeles Police Department 1st Assistant Chief Jim McDonnell, LAPD Captain, Blake Chow and LBA 2008 Gala Chairman’s Latina Community Leader award recipient LAPD Captain, Tina Nieto.
